I smiled, feeling satisfied as Joan disappeared to the oatmeal making room. "Joan is very nice," I told Emmeline. "When I first came here I was very sad because my sister used to always make me oatmeal before bed time but she couldn't anymore. So Joan made me some oatmeal and now I can sleep."
